Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting an international textile company in the recruitment of a Sewing Machinist for their Trafford Park site. We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machinist with experience using either industrial or domestic sewing machines, capable of carrying out alterations and repairs to a high standard. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. Responsibilities: * Confidently operate industrial or domestic sewing machines * Carry out garment alterations and repairs with precision * Shorten trouser legs and sleeves * Repair holes, tears, and frayed areas * Reinforce seams and stitching where required * Attach or reattach logos, patches, and labels * Ensure high-quality finishes with excellent attention to detail Requirements: * Previous experience in a production or tailoring environment is desirable * Proven experience using industrial or domestic sewing machines * Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach * Good communication skills, both written and verbal * Flexible to work both 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts Details: * Starting salary of £25,427 (£13.03 per hour), rising to £26,474 (£13.57 per hour) after 12 weeks * Permanent opportunity with monthly performance-based bonuses * A chance to join a well-established international company Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years\’ experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
