A well-established Grounds Maintenance Group in Mold is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance and enjoys leading and motivating a team.

Compensation & Schedule

  • £13.50 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Overtime available (weekends paid at 1.5×)
  • Temporary to Permanent
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:15 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting and lawn care
  • Shrub bed maintenance
  • Shrub and hedge pruning
  • Weed control and herbicide application
  • Litter picking
  • Using a PDA to plan, record and monitor service delivery

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and guide on-site teams to achieve high-quality results
  • Ensure daily and weekly productivity and quality targets are met
  • Maintain all work to company/client specifications
  • Communicate professionally with clients and residents
  • Complete compliance paperwork and digital documentation
  • Ensure safe working practices and correct PPE usage in line with Health & Safety legislation

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ Grounds Maintenance experience (required)
  • Previous team leader or supervisory experience
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
