Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (PERMANENT)
Salary: £55,000
Location: Deeside Industrial Estate
Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Friday
Overview: Our client, based in the Deeside area, are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers on a permanent basis. The roles are permanent and will pay £55,000 per annum. You will be working for a well-known manufacturing company, with a number of manufacturing sites, and in a purpose-built design office.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience
- 3D CAD modelling and detail drafting experience (ideally SolidWorks)
- Able to manage a project, from client enquiry through to final design and meet associated deadlines
- Have the ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve
- Have recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Be very experienced in 3D SolidWorks, covering fabrications, rotating parts, sheet metal and welded components/fabrications
- Able to carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical parts using SolidWorks
- Understand basic fabrication processes from a design perspective
