Permanent role on the shop floor responsible for ensuring that products, processes and systems consistently meet the standards expected by customers, regulators and the wider organisation. The candidate will lead the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System and support progress towards ISO 18001 and ISO 45001 accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day oversight of quality performance across all operational areas
- Lead, maintain and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Work closely with the HSQE Manager to support progress towards ISO 18001 and ISO 45001
- Lead internal audits, manage non‑conformances and ensure timely corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and insight
- Monitor and interpret quality KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities
- Support and guide production teams to embed a strong quality culture
- Manage customer quality concerns and supplier related issues professionally and effectively
Qualifications
- Established Quality Manager with significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Confident in audits, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods
- Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001
- Strong experience in a quality focused role within manufacturing
- Exposure to ISO 18001 and/or ISO 45001
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence at all levels
