Responsibilities

  • Powder coating of components.
  • Ensure correct operation of the paint line and set procedures.
  • Operate handheld powder coating guns along the automatic line.
  • Prepare and mask parts to be painted.
  • Inspect, analyse, and document powder-coated products in line with specification.
  • Load, unload, and inspect items on and off the paint line.
  • Handle and store materials correctly.
  • Hang items to be painted using hooks and jigs to maximise efficiency.
  • Mask items to drawings and specifications before entering the painting process.
  • Move parts safely in and out of the department.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous powder coating or paint plant experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Ability to interpret job tickets.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail.
