Responsibilities
- Powder coating of components.
- Ensure correct operation of the paint line and set procedures.
- Operate handheld powder coating guns along the automatic line.
- Prepare and mask parts to be painted.
- Inspect, analyse, and document powder-coated products in line with specification.
- Load, unload, and inspect items on and off the paint line.
- Handle and store materials correctly.
- Hang items to be painted using hooks and jigs to maximise efficiency.
- Mask items to drawings and specifications before entering the painting process.
- Move parts safely in and out of the department.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous powder coating or paint plant experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret job tickets.
