Job Overview

Support a well-established manufacturing business specialising in bespoke equipment for telecom networks. Produce high‑quality powder‑coated components to customer specifications. This is a permanent role in a stable expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Powder coating of components.
  • Operate handheld powder coating guns and manage automatic line.
  • Prepare and mask parts for painting.
  • Inspect, analyse, and document powder‑coated products against specifications.
  • Load, unload, and inspect items on and off the paint line.
  • Handle and store materials, hang items using hooks and jigs to maximise efficiency.
  • Mask items to drawings and specifications before painting.
  • Safely move parts in and out of the department.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous powder coating or paint plant experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Ability to interpret job tickets.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
