Pay: £13.69 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours flexible working however you are expected to work core hours 10.00 to 15.00.

Location: Huddersfield commutable from Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Elland, Brighouse

We are actively seeking a Planning Administrator to join the Process Unit within the Planning Department. This is an immediate start role offering ongoing temporary work with the possibility of becoming permanent.

You'll support a fast‑paced production planning function, ensuring work orders, stock information, KPIs and planning adherence are maintained accurately and on time. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys organisation, problem‑solving and cross‑functional communication.

Planning Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Raising work orders
  • Pre-production instructions
  • Ensuring KPIs are not below 7% out of stock
  • Out Of Stock daily report
  • Attend batch release daily meeting - chase info in meeting re stock required
  • Interact with commercial team who work with customers and quality team
  • MRP certification for stable process, reporting on Friday.
  • Assist planners with 5WISE and missed batches and cross analysis
  • Production Planning strategy
  • Production Planning Adherence
  • Create stock list weekly for Production
Planning Administrator Skills and Experience:
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative capacity.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience of working in a production/manufacturing environment is required
  • Working knowledge of the end to end manufacturing supply chain and its key processes would be ideal but not essential
  • An understanding of SAP/MRP/APO systems would be ideal but not essential.
