Oliver Mc Gowan LD Co-Trainer 16.42 per hour | Flexible working | South Yorkshire We are looking for an Oliver Mc Gowan Learning Disability Co-Trainer to join our team and help deliver training to health and social care staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with lived experience of a learning disability who would like to use their experiences to help others understand how to provide better, more inclusive and person-centred care.

You will work alongside a Lead Trainer and share your lived experience during training sessions.

You don t need to be an experienced trainer or confident public speaker - full training, guidance and ongoing support will be provided.

What you ll be doing Helping to deliver Oliver Mc Gowan training sessions in person Sharing your lived experience in a safe and supportive environment Taking part in group discussions and activities Helping health and social care staff understand the experiences and needs of people with learning disabilities Sharing your views and experiences to help improve the way services provide care Working alongside the Lead Trainer and other Co-Trainers About you We are looking for someone who: Has lived experience of a learning disability Is interested in helping health and social care staff learn and improve Is happy to speak in front of small groups, or is willing to build their confidence with support Has good communication and listening skills ...
