My client based in Newcastle are looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join an expanding team on a permanent basis.
Package:
- Salary is £18.14 per hour
- Monday to Thursday 07:00 until 16:45
- Bonus up to £360 per quarter
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Requirements:
- Interpret technical work instructions and SOPs
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and machinery
- Perform MIG, TIG weld on a wide range of materials
- Understand, follow and weld to WPS
- Preparing jigs and fixtures for complex assemblies
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances and welding codes
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, Risk assessments and SSOW
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Work closely with engineers and Manufacturing teams to meet project deadlines
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for welding and fabrication processes
