Kinetic Industrial are assisting a Precision Engineering company in Middleton with recruiting 2 x Sheet Metal workers to work alongside their current workforce. You will be based within a state of the art manufacturing plant working for a company who have been established for over 50 years. As the Sheet Metal workers, you will be working Temporary to Permanent, 38 hours per week with enhanced overtime available and paid £14.48 per hour.
As the sheet metal worker you will be tasked with:
- Using saws, lasers, plasma cutters, or guillotines to cut metal sheets to size.
- Bending, folding, rolling, and pressing metal into required shapes.
- Building components.
- Assembly work.
- Working with a wide range of metal thicknesses, from delicate stainless steel to heavy mild steel.
We need the 2 new sheet metal workers to have:
- Experience as a sheet metal worker is a must have.
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- Able to get to and from Middleton with ease daily.
- Good fabrication skills and experience with different tools.
As the new Sheet Metal Workers you will receive:
- £14.48 per hour (std).
- Enhanced overtime rate for work after 38 hours (1.5).
- Permanent position after 12 weeks.
- Excellent working environment.
