We're looking for a reliable Stores Operative / Van Driver to join a busy engineering company on £28,414 salary.

This is a hands-on role involving stores, stock control, picking and packing, material handling and occasional deliveries using the company van.

Duties

  • Goods in / goods out
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  • Checking delivery notes and job tickets
  • Stock control and inventory counts
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Wrapping and labelling products for delivery
  • General labouring duties, including painting frames when required
  • Keeping the workshop clean and organised, Occasional delivery driving when required
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For in Stores Operative

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
  • Able to get to site for a 6:30am start
  • Good English and Maths skills
  • Experience in stores, warehouse, dispatch or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
