We're looking for a reliable Stores Operative / Van Driver to join a busy engineering company on £28,414 salary.
This is a hands-on role involving stores, stock control, picking and packing, material handling and occasional deliveries using the company van.
Duties
- Goods in / goods out
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders
- Checking delivery notes and job tickets
- Stock control and inventory counts
- Loading and unloading materials
- Wrapping and labelling products for delivery
- General labouring duties, including painting frames when required
- Keeping the workshop clean and organised, Occasional delivery driving when required
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
What We're Looking For in Stores Operative
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Able to get to site for a 6:30am start
- Good English and Maths skills
- Experience in stores, warehouse, dispatch or manufacturing environments
- Ability to work independently and accurately
