Overview
Kinetic Industrial are looking for a Repair Technician (Electrical Bias) to support a leading global supplier of safety components and solutions. This permanent role will complement the established team in Middleton.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and refurbish industrial electronic equipment
- Fault find to component and board level
- Set up and test electronic systems and devices
- Use a range of test equipment confidently and accurately
- Repair or replace components such as diodes, resistors, capacitors and ICs
- Solder and desolder to a high standard
- Record and interpret test data to assess condition and next steps
- Read and understand technical manuals, diagrams and schematics
- Maintain stock and inventory
- Attend training workshops to support ongoing development
- Identify improvements to internal processes
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and correctly
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Electronic Technician or Electrical Repair Technician
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics and product drawings
- Electronics qualifications beneficial, though practical experience is acceptable
- Strong English skills (spoken, written, reading) due to H&S
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident using MS Office
Practical Information
- Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 1:30 pm
