Kinetic are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor / Specialist to join a specialist coatings company based in Tameside. This permanent position is within a well‑established operation delivering high‑quality coating services across several industry sectors. Powder coating is a critical function; the plant uses a rise‑and‑fall conveyor system. The role involves hands‑on coating work and supervision of shop floor activities, coordinating workload, maintaining quality standards, and improving plant efficiency. Progression into a middle‑management position is possible.
Responsibilities
- Apply coatings including Polyester, Epoxy, Hybrid systems, and PPA571
- Prepare customised sample panels to customer specifications
- Troubleshoot technical and quality issues
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Supervise and support production staff daily
- Coordinate workload and maintain process flow
- Maintain high quality and operational standards
Qualifications
- Previous powder coating experience
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Confident working within a fast‑paced production environment
