Kinetic are assisting a global company based in Irlam with recruiting 2 x Assembly Operatives. For well over 150 years, this company has built up an enviable reputation within instrumentation and manufacturing. This is a permanent position from day one and you will be tasked with all aspects of manufacturing and assembly work.
Along with assembling and manufacturing the products to the highest of quality, you will also be tasked with the following:
- Carry out hands-on production tasks as instructed.
- Support all manufacturing activities in the factory.
- Assemble a variety of parts and components.
- Inspect finished parts and assemblies following company procedures.
- Work safely and maintain a clean, organised area in line with Quality and H&S standards.
- Assist with staff and product training when required.
- Follow all company processes and operational guidelines.
- Meet production and manufacturing deadlines.
- Report and record any maintenance needs.
- Identify and log scrap components in line with company processes.
- Undertake additional tasks when trained and authorised.
What we need the Assemblers / Technicians to have is the following:
- Basic mechanical ability and confidence using tools and production equipment.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience in a factory or production setting.
- Strong attention to detail when assembling parts and checking quality.
- Able to follow quality and safety standards, including ISO ****:****.
- Confident following procedures and completing documentation accurately.
- Good communication skills and able to work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team.
As well as never working a Friday, the job also offers:
- Monday to Thursday 9.25 hrs per day
- Flexible Start Times ****am OR ****am OR ****am
