Overview
Our client, a UK leading manufacturer and part of a global multi‑national organisation, requires a Maintenance Electrician with a strong manufacturing background. This is a contract role lasting for a few months.
Responsibilities
- Maintain engineering stores and parts, and work on continual improvement of the PM system.
- Perform reactive and PPM work in a manufacturing environment.
- Fault find electrical issues and mechanical equipment (bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics, etc.).
- Work on equipment including check weighers, flow wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors, and cutting machinery.
- Manage own workloads, be proactive, and work closely with other engineers on site.
Qualifications
- Apprentice trained in Electrical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
- Strong manufacturing background in reactive and PPM work.
- Solid electrical fault‑finding experience with ability to fault find on mechanical equipment.
