Location: Bradford, commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury

Salary: £65,000 DOE pro‑rata

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 9‑month FTC (may lead to permanent contract)

We’re recruiting a proactive Logistics Manager to lead all inbound, outbound, and onsite material flow. You'll ensure goods move efficiently through the business, support production schedules, and drive improvements across warehousing, transport and inventory control. It is a hands‑on leadership role in a modular manufacturing environment with a 5‑year order book.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse, transport, and inventory activity.
  • Manage carriers, booking collections/deliveries, and control freight spend.
  • Ensure efficient goods‑in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Monitor stock levels and work with procurement/production to prevent shortages.
  • Lead, coach and develop warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Ensure adherence to H&S, transport legislation and internal standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve KPIs.

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics, warehouse or supply chain management (manufacturing/engineering preferred).
  • Strong understanding of transport planning, inventory systems and ERP/WMS platforms.
  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • FLT licence or CPC qualification is beneficial but not essential.
