This role is working in a brand new state of the art paper converting facility, with exciting plans for rapid expansion in the near future

  • Job Overview
  • -Leading a multidisciplinary team of operators.
  • -Operating equipment to the required standards while achieving set production targets.
  • -Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including tissue converting machinery, packaging equipment, and ancillary systems.
  • -Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • -Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • -Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and address issues, while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • -Assisting with new equipment installations and managing contractor relationships.
  • -Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and developing maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • -Performing basic production operator tasks as required.

Salary - £55500 Shift - 3 on, 3 off days and nights (6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am) Location - Huyton
