Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Permanent contract | 42 hours per week | Continental shift pattern (4 on / 4 off)

Salary £51,000 per annum, including shift allowance.

Benefits include company pension scheme, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and death in service.

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a small team providing preventive maintenance (PPM) on site to all plant machinery and equipment, helping to minimise downtime and ensuring the smooth running of all manufacturing operations. You will also take part in continuous improvement initiatives and undertake project work.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in fault finding on various control systems such as PLCs, AC/DC motors, drives/frequency inverters, and relay logic.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
• Time-served electrical apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 3 years\’ experience in a production maintenance environment with a multi‑skilled approach.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Analytical, logical, and methodical approach to problem‑solving.
• Computer literacy.
