This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with **sheet metal fabrication or assembly experience** who are looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within engineering. The successful candidates will work with a range of materials and sheet metal components, including **ducting, cabinets and bespoke fabrications**, using modern machinery and equipment. The Role Your responsibilities will include: * Cutting sheet metal to size using **saws, lasers, plasma cutters and guillotines** * Bending, folding, rolling and pressing sheet metal into the required shapes * Building and assembling fabricated components * General sheet metal assembly and fabrication * Working with a range of material thicknesses, from **thin-gauge stainless steel through to heavy-gauge mild steel** * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Using a variety of hand tools, machinery and fabrication equipment * Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment * Working both independently and as part of an esta...
