Our client, based in the Frodsham/Preston Brook area near Runcorn, are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker, who can also TIG Weld to a high standard. The job is permanent from day 1, working a 4‑day week Monday to Thursday and will pay a very competitive hourly rate. This role involves working with various materials, primarily stainless steel, to assemble components and create high‑quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to specifications.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings in order to carry out fabrication.
  • Work with a variety of metals to produce high quality work.
  • Work in a small team but also manage their own small welding jobs.

Qualifications

  • Skilled/Qualified in welding (mainly TIG) and able to read drawings.
  • Experience working with sheet metal processes, rolling, forming, cutting, marking out etc.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player.
