Kinetic are looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join one of our long established and respected engineering clients in Oldham. With over 70 years of history behind them, they continue to grow year on year.
This role is essential to the smooth operation of goods in and goods out processes, ensuring materials and orders are handled efficiently and safely. Please be aware that you will be working on and off the truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move goods within the warehouse.
- Work within the goods in department to receive, check, and store incoming deliveries.
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Lift and shift goods manually and using the FLT as required.
- Ensure goods are accurately moved from goods in to goods out areas.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide cover for the current driver when required, which may include driving within the North of England.
Requirements
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or engineering production environment is preferred.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support driving duties in the North when necessary.
