Our client, a UK leading manufacturer and part of a global multi-national organisation, require a Maintenance Electrician with a strong manufacturing background. This is a contract position that will last for a few months, working on 6-2pm and 2-10pm rotating weekly, paying £25-35/hour PAYE. The position is based in the Flint area and commutable from South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester and Holywell areas.
Details:
- Apprentice trained in Electrical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
- Strong manufacturing background in reactive and PPM work.
- Solid electrical fault finding experience, whilst also being able to fault find on mechanical equipment, covering things like bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics, and other production machinery.
- The equipment includes Check Weighers, Flow Wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors and cutting machinery.
- Responsible for maintaining engineering stores and parts and work to continual improvement of the PM system.
- Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with other engineers on site.
