Are you a detail orientated professional looking for your next position in Quality? We are looking for someone just like you to work as a Quality Administrator / Document. You will be responsible for providing quality documentation support to the manufacturing teams. The position also includes preparing and maintaining Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) for refurbished, repaired, and newly produced subsea equipment, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and fully traceable.
Here is an idea of what you will be doing as the Engineering Quality Administrator:
- Compile, review, and assemble all required Quality Documentation to accurately and efficiently create Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs)
- Ensure full traceability of materials, particularly for repair and refurbishment activities
- Maintain high standards of document accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Develop, standardise, and continuously improve quality documentation processes
- Supporting the transition from paper-based to digital (paperless) documentation systems
- Assist with internal audits and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities as required
- Manage the scanning, filing, and secure storage of quality records
- Managing high volumes of technical documentation with strict accuracy and tight deadlines
- Provide general support to manufacturing and quality teams to achieve business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Quality, HSE, and Integrity standards
What we need the new Quality Administrator to have:
- Experience working within Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or related disciplines
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across different departments
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement methods and Root Cause Analysis practices
- Familiarity with digital systems for managing and storing documentation
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to work well with others
- Experience with digital or paperless documentation systems
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Background in Oil & Gas, Subsea, or complex manufacturing environments
- Proactive mindset toward process improvement
- Experience supporting internal audits
The Engineering Quality Administrator Role offers:
- £25.00 per hour
- Temporary for 12 months with a definite opportunity to go permanent
- 39 hours per week
