Kinetic are looking for an experienced Endoscope Repair Technician to join a leading medical organisation at their Northampton site. This is a specialist, hands-on role focused on the repair and refurbishment of flexible Olympus endoscopes. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience carrying out major repairs, with the ability to repair flexible Olympus scopes from start to finish. This is an excellent, permanent opportunity for an experienced technician to join an established team, work on highly specialised medical equipment and continue developing their technical skills. Responsibilities: * Carry out repairs and refurbishment of flexible Olympus endoscopes * Perform major repairs, taking endoscopes through the complete repair process from assessment through to completion * Diagnose faults and identify components requiring repair or replacement * Use specialist tools and equipment to complete repairs to a high standard * Carry out precision work on small components using tools such as tweezers, pliers and soldering equipment * Operate specialist equipment including presses, soldering stations and laser equipment where required * Inspect repaired equipment to ensure it meets required quality and safety standards * Maintain accurate records throughout the repair process * Manage and track equipment throughout the repair process * Liaise with the stockroom to obtain required replacement parts * Maintain assigned ...
