Kinetic Nursing Services is supporting a young adult female (aged 21) who lives independently in her own home. She requires ongoing complex care support to maintain her health, wellbeing, and independence within the community.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Complex Care Support Workers to provide 24-hour support within the client's own home. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, safety, and quality of life.
The client has complex long-term health needs requiring ongoing support, including assistance with clinical care needs, nutrition support via enteral feeding systems, medication support, and management of fluctuating physical and emotional health.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 24-hour support within the client's home
- Supporting with all aspects of daily living, personal care, and social support
- Assisting with clinical care tasks as trained and delegated
- Supporting nutrition and hydration needs as required
- Supporting with mobility, routine, and household tasks
- Providing emotional reassurance and managing periods of anxiety
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes appropriately
- Working in line with care plans, policies, and clinical guidance
About the Client
- Young adult female, 21 years old
- Lives independently in her own home
- Attends college two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) with staff support
- Enjoys beauty and nail care and regularly practices these skills
- Aspires to develop a future career or business in the nail and beauty industry
- Motivated to maintain independence with the right support in place
Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care or support work is desirable
- Calm, compassionate, and dependable personality
- Ability to follow clinical guidance and care plans
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to promoting independence and dignity
- Willingness to undertake training and development
- All training will be provided where required, however experience with the above complexities is preferred
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes
Shift Patterns
- Day shifts: 08:00 - 20:00
- Night shifts: 20:00 - 08:00
Pay & Package
- £16.00 per hour (day shifts)
- £130.00 per night shift (with 7 hours considered sleep-in hours)
- Consistent hours within an established care package
