Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client, supporting projects. This role will involve commissioning, testing, and validating electrical and instrumentation systems in hazardous areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out commissioning activities on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Perform loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
- Ensure all systems are installed and operate in accordance with design specifications
- Work with project teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
- Produce and maintain commissioning documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures
- Support handover activities to clients and operations teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in a relevant industry
- Valid COMPEX 01-04 certification (essential)
- Strong knowledge of hazardous area installations and regulations
- Experience with electrical/instrumentation systems commissioning
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
