Kinetic Skills & Trades are currently recruiting for CNC Millers & Turners based in East Cheshire. The role is commutable from Warrington, Altrincham, Knutsford, Middlewich, Macclesfield, Wilmslow & Southwest Manchester areas. The salary for the role will be up to £38,750 per annum working a 6-2pm/2-11pm (Mon to Thur) & 2-6pm Friday on late shift. Our client is a manufacturer of high specification machinery and it's a very modern clean working environment.
To be considered for the role you must have around 5 years machining experience.
- Positions: CNC Turner/CNC Miller
- Commutable From: Northwich, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Warrington, Altrincham, Sale, Congleton, Macclesfield & Winsford.
- Hours: 6-2pm/2-11pm (Mon to Thur) & 2-6pm Friday on late shift.
- Duration: Permanent
- Salary: £38,750
The position of CNC Turner/Miller will consist of the following tasks and duties:
- Setting & Operating CNC Lathes or machining centres
- Programs mainly generated offline so only experience of modifying or altering of programs required.
- Producing one-off and short-run precision components from engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Machining a variety of materials.
To be considered for the CNC Turner/Miller roles, you will ideally be:
- Time served or apprentice qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Ideally experience of programming but not essential as most programs are generated offline so only alterations needed at the machine.
- Able to work well on your own and as a team.
