The purpose of the role is to design computer-aided technical drawings derived from customer orders in order to support the engineering team in manufacturing and assembling parts for the customer. Using good CAD Management skills in supporting the engineering team.

Duties include:

  • To manage each job as own project from start to finish.
  • Receive the customer order, read notes, understand requirements to produce a drawing pack for production and works orders.
  • Arrive on time to the office workstation ready to pick up new projects and plan time to manage existing projects already in production.
  • Decide on types of drawings for the job or project - 2D, 3D or other.
  • Check customer requirements, technical questions (TQs), etc.
  • Design part profiles on software RADA.
