Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Bromborough area, are looking for a Maintenance Engineer on days, working 8.45am - 5pm. The salary for the role is £45,000 p.a. They are open to either mechanical or electrical bias, as long as you have a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities. You must be apprentice trained in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.
DUTIES:
- Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
- Carrying out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
- Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
- Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
- Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
- Support project development.
- Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
- Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
