We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established fabrication manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role working within the Goods In department, handling and processing incoming raw materials including steel and aluminium bars and sheet materials. You will play a key part in ensuring materials are accurately identified, stored, and supplied to production efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be confident working with dimensions, measurements, and stock identification, and experienced in locating and picking materials within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the manufacturing team and should have a good understanding of Kanban stock control methods. Occasionally, you may also be required to support the business with site deliveries of products and materials.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (CBL)
  • Previous warehouse experience within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong understanding of stock management and inventory control
  • Comfortable using Excel and maintaining computerised stock records
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
