Kinetic are recruiting for a large, well established company based in Blackley. We are on the look out for an FLT Driver who can work on and off the truck. The new FLT driver will be working within a company who, for over 100 years, have been the best in their field. They look after their staff well and offer a great career.
Your role as FLT / Fork Lift Truck / Warehouse operative will include:
- Operating FLT Truck within a large and busy warehouse
- Picking and loading large products from the yard and the warehouse onto transport
- Load a variety of materials in order to return to the suppliers
- Moving products from production areas to storage and holding areas
- Keeping paperwork up to date and completing when required
- Labelling and checking stock
- Repacking items onto pallets
- Picking and packing goods coming in and out
- Walking round the site and collecting and emptying waste
- Heavy lifting
Along with a positive and helpful attitude, we need the FLT Driver to have/be:
- Flexible with working on AND off the FLT
- Full FLT Licence (External Licence)
- Ability to work in a busy warehouse, stores and the yard
- If you have experience of VNA driving that would be a distinct advantage but not a must
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to lift heavy items
- Experience of working within manufacturing
