They are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team.
The role is a proactive internal sales role selling construction materials whilst supporting the regional external sales team to service an established customer base as well as converting prospect accounts into trading customers.
Duties for the Internal Sales Executive will involve
- Generating new & managing existing business within a defined area of the UK
- Identify and target new accounts
- Maintain and develop existing accounts
- Build strong relationships with Customers and Suppliers
- Respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Using the Order Processing and Credit Control systems to provide administration support to the external sales team.
- Proactively organise databases for distributing stock notes and supporting company marketing activities
- Be happy to work to company expectations in relation to target income, company procedures and KPIs
- Embrace training development on sales and product knowledge
Essential Experience for the Internal Sales Executive
- Proven experience in a construction, timber or similar product based internal sales environment
- Experienced in managing and generating new business
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Excellent administrative skills and experience in order processing
- Must have desire and aptitude to learn
- Driven, ambitious and highly motivated
- Confident with a strong desire for a successful career in sales
- Personable, presentable and professional
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- Must enjoy and be able to communicate effectively
- Good computer skills - Microsoft Office and CRM systems

- 37.5 hour working week, Monday - Friday
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays with option to purchase further holidays and holidays increasing over time
