We’re partnering with a major multi-site consumer services business to appoint a Product Manager focused on improving technology, customer experience and operational performance across a national estate. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve how technology supports both internal teams and customers - from digital journeys and operational tooling through to AI-enabled solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
The business operates in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where customer experience, operational efficiency and offering best-in-class solutions are all business-critical. This is not a desk-based product role. You’ll spend significant time in operational environments, speaking with stakeholders, identifying pain points, testing new ideas and helping turn innovation into scalable, commercially valuable solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders through regular site visits and proactive technology reviews
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys, operational efficiency and technology experiences
- Researching emerging technology trends and AI-enabled tools, assessing practical use cases across the business
- Running pilots and proof-of-concepts within live operational environments
- Measuring impact, gathering feedback and supporting the rollout of successful solutions
- Working closely with operational teams and external technology partners to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes
- Management and prioritisation of product roadmaps and improvement initiatives
- Representing the business at industry and technology events, bringing new ideas and insight back into the organisation
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone naturally curious about emerging technologies, commercially aware and practical in their approach. You may have recently started your journey in Product or Digital Product Management, or perhaps developed product, roadmap and delivery skills within an operational, technology or customer-focused role. You will ideally have owned product roadmap and managed and prioritised activities, balancing business needs, operational priorities and potential value/ROI.
Experience supporting or driving product initiatives to delivery - pilots, rollouts or continuous improvement activity within operational or customer-facing environments. Able to assess opportunities, challenge ideas and focus on solutions that are practical, scalable and commercially valuable. We’re particularly interested in people who have worked in fast-paced, customer-focused or multi-site environments such as retail, consumer services, hospitality, leisure, transport or similar sectors.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone proactive, confident communicating with different audiences and happy spending time in operational environments understanding challenges first-hand.
Why join?
You’ll have genuine ownership, visibility and influence, with the freedom to explore new ideas, challenge existing ways of working and help deliver meaningful operational and customer impact at scale. This is an opportunity to help shape how a large, customer-focused organisation evolves its use of technology across frontline operations.
