We’re hiring a hands‑on Power BI Developer to join a small in‑house data team. This is an end‑to‑end BI role — close to the data, close to the business, and focused on producing accurate, trusted reporting, not just visuals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working directly with business users to clarify reporting needs
- Translating messy operational and finance data into usable models
- Writing SQL to validate, reconcile, and understand source data
- Reporting primarily from Microsoft Dynamics and Sage Intacct
- Iterating from early proof‑of‑concept to production‑ready dashboards
- Supporting rollout, user adoption, and ongoing refinement
About you:
- Enjoy owning the full reporting lifecycle, working close to real business data, and building Power BI solutions that people actually use.
- Comfy operating end to end, from engaging directly with the business to gather and establish requirements, to developing and delivering the solution.
- Strong Power BI experience (not just visuals — modelling and DAX)
- High level of SQL skill for joins, validation, reconciliation, and understanding data
- Solid grasp of data modelling (facts, dimensions etc)
- Confident working with operational (sales / customer service) and finance data
Desirable experience (not mandatory):
- Reporting from Dynamics 365 (CE modules)
- Working with Sage Intacct or other finance / ERP systems
- Understanding data quality issues caused by migrations or integrations
