Kinetech is recruiting a Cyber Security Analyst to join a growing IT function within a well-established organisation. This is a hands-on role with real influence across security governance, incident response and risk management.
What you’ll be doing:
- Protecting systems from cyber threats and unauthorised access
- Monitoring networks, servers and endpoints for security events
- Investigating and responding to cyber incidents end-to-end
- Producing cyber security MI, reports and threat trend analysis
- Managing information security risks and controls
- Supporting audits and regulatory compliance
- Promoting a strong cyber-aware culture across the business
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cyber security role
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST or similar frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR and vulnerability scanning
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Azure and M365 is highly desirable
The package:
- Salary up to £50,000
- Discretionary bonus – up to 15%
- Pension contributions up to 10% employer
- Up to 1–2 days WFH (role-dependent)
