We are looking for a hands-on Data Migration Engineer / Consultant to join a fast-growing organisation during a Business Central implementation. Your core mission will be to migrate Finance data from multiple legacy systems into Business Central, repeatedly, reliably, and under pressure.

What Youll Be Doing

  • For each OpCo, analyse legacy source systems.
  • Understand and interrogate data models at source and target.
  • Perform source-to-target mapping.
  • Extract, cleanse, transform, and load data into Business Central.
  • Own data migration issues through to resolution (including post-migration BAU support).
  • Investigate missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data under time pressure.
  • Support out-of-hours and weekend migrations when required.
  • Work closely with stakeholders who depend on accurate data to run the business.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering data migrations for ERP / Finance data. Business Central experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, relational models, and transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure, delivery-focused environments.
  • Able to explain how you moved data, not just which tools you used.
  • Strong SQL / SSIS essential.
