Technical Delivery / Implementation Project Manager Contract (6 Months)
Hybrid (National Travel - Car and driver's license required) - £375/day | Outside IR35
I'm supporting a global business on a key hire within their Customer Technology team - and this is a role that puts you right at the heart of where technology meets real-world experience.
Exciting environments: You'll be on-site at live events, stadiums, major venues, universities, and household-name organisations - delivering tech that directly impacts the customer experience.
End-to-end ownership: This isn't governance-heavy PM work. You'll lead full lifecycle implementations - from discovery and mobilisation through to go-live and service transition.
On-the-road flexibility: Expect to be on client sites weekly, keeping things fast-paced and varied. You'll also have an office base in Macclesfield as and when needed.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering multi-site technology rollouts across complex, live environments
- Managing projects from discovery through to go-live and BAU handover
- Working closely with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to shape and deliver solutions
- Acting as the bridge between business, tech teams, and third parties
- Providing on-site support during key deployments and escalations
- Managing risks, scope, and stakeholder expectations
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering technology implementations / rollouts across multiple sites
- Background in retail, hospitality, venues or similar
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management capability
- Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset - someone who gets things done on the ground
- Comfortable working at pace in a contract environment
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visible, tangible delivery - seeing your work go live across real sites, not just sitting in status meetings.
If you're available or coming to the end of a contract, I'd be keen to speak.
