Application Support Analyst
6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential Extension)
Salary to Β£32,000 + Benefits | Onsite Working 4 days per week | Brentwood
Were recruiting for an Application Support Analyst to join a busy IT Service Desk, delivering 2nd and 3rd line support across a range of business-critical applications.
Youll support primarily bespoke systems, taking ownership of incidents, resolving issues, and ensuring applications remain stable and reliable. This role involves close collaboration with developers, infrastructure teams, and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for business applications
- Manage and resolve incidents via ITSM tools
- Troubleshoot application and data issues (including SQL)
- Support user access, onboarding/offboarding
- Maintain documentation and knowledge articles
- Escalate complex issues where required
- Support releases and user testing
About You
- Experience in application support (2nd line or above)
- Basic SQL skills
- Experience supporting bespoke/in-house systems
- Strong ITSM and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer focus
- Microsoft platforms or Dynamics exposure
- ITIL awareness
- Experience with APIs or web applications
