This is a full‑time role based at the Cole‑Parmer, St Neots, UK facility.

Job Purpose

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of customer service and relationship building in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the features and benefits of PCR and Techne products
  • Demonstrate knowledge of sales techniques through questioning and objection handling
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Educated to a degree level in Biology with a heavy emphasis on Genetics and an understanding of the complexities of the instruments

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver results within deadlines
  • Understand and communicate ROI to the client
  • Assist in training of the EMEA Sales Team and Distributors of PCR and Techne products
  • Provide prompt and accurate technical support for end‑users and distributors/service companies via phone, online or in‑person
  • Work closely with local sales teams in the UK, France and Germany
  • Grow customer base through cold calling and dual calling with other team members
  • Identify market changes and communicate back to business leaders

Communication and Working Relationships

The post holder will be part of Cole‑Parmer, St Neots, UK and is required to establish effective working relationships with various departments including Sales, Product Managers and international teams.

The role requires someone comfortable project managing a high volume of varied tasks amongst various stakeholders while working towards set deadlines.
