The Recruitment Compliance Officer plays a key role within Kinect’s Recruitment & Compliance Team, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient recruitment and onboarding processes across the organisation. The role exists to ensure all pre-employment checks, right to work documentation, licensing requirements, and onboarding processes are completed accurately and in line with safeguarding, regulatory, and organisational standards. The postholder will also support recruitment coordination activities, training administration, recruitment marketing, and social media engagement to help attract and retain high-quality staff. This is a highly organised and detail-focused role requiring strong administrative capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete and monitor Right to Work checks and ensure all employee documentation is compliant with current legislation and company procedures.
- Coordinate and administer licensing and badge application processes, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and maintained.
- Support the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all compliance checks and recruitment documentation are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Coordinate staff inductions and support the scheduling and administration of mandatory training.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and compliance records using internal systems and databases.
- Support the Recruitment Team with front-end recruitment activities including candidate communication, interview coordination, and vacancy administration.
- Assist with recruitment advertising and candidate attraction activity across job boards and digital platforms.
- Support the management of recruitment-related social media channels, helping to promote vacancies, recruitment campaigns, and company branding.
- Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives and campaigns to support workforce growth objectives.
- Monitor compliance expiry dates and proactively follow up on outstanding documentation or renewals.
- Ensure all recruitment and compliance activity is carried out in line with safeguarding, GDPR, and company policies.
- Provide general administrative support to the Recruitment & Compliance Team as required.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience within recruitment administration, compliance, HR, or workforce coordination.
- Strong understanding of Right to Work checks and compliance-based recruitment processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Experience working with digital systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience supporting social media administration or recruitment marketing activity would be advantageous.
- Understanding of safer recruitment and safeguarding principles would be desirable.
