We are working with a well-established, highly regarded fostering agency in the West Midlands that has built a genuine reputation for putting both carers and Social Workers first. Think manageable caseloads, real flexibility, and a team that operates more like a family than a hierarchy. Due to growth, they are now looking to appoint two Supervising Social Workers to join their team.
The Role
This is a relationship-led role where your focus is on supporting foster carers to deliver safe, stable and nurturing environments for children and young people. You won’t be overloaded. You won’t be left on your own. You’ll be part of a team that actually supports each other.
- Providing regular supervision and support to foster carers (visits + phone)
- Monitoring placements to ensure safe, stable and positive environments
- Completing annual foster carer reviews and presenting to panel
- Working closely with Local Authorities and wider professional networks
- Supporting carers with placements, challenges and development
- Ensuring safeguarding is always front and centre
- Completing assessments, reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting young people towards independence where appropriate
- Contributing to team meetings and wider service development

What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree level or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Current DBS
