Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children to learn, play, explore, and develop.
- Maintain a clean and orderly homely environment for all children.
- Implement interesting and inspiring activities for children to learn through play.
- Build relationships with key children and record their interests and achievements through observations.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Safeguard children, parents, and staff by upholding shared responsibility and reporting concerns to management in line with policy.
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training, parent information sessions, and functions as appropriate, including marketing events and activities that may run during evenings or weekends.
- Treat all personal and sensitive information relating to staff, children, families, visitors, nursery or the company with utmost integrity and confidentiality.
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- A commitment to working within Early Years Childcare.
Desirable
- Previous nursery experience.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
