Kindred Nurseries has a rare opportunity for a passionate and motivating early years leader to inspire the Bournemouth team. This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to work 40-42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and is offering a competitive salary with an extensive benefits package.
The key responsibilities for a Senior Nursery Manager are to:
- Lead the Nursery Management team to ensure the highest standards of Early Years care and education across the setting
- Work closely with the Area Manager and Nursery Manager to create a shared vision of the setting
- Have regular supervision meetings with your team to discuss their strengths and areas for improvement
- Maintain an organised, safe and stimulating nursery environment
- Keep accurate records and ensure procedures are followed throughout the nursery
- Help build and maintain a reputation as the setting of choice in the area for both children and employees
- Manage the nursery staff deployment to ensure it is always compliant with legal ratios
- Understand and implement the company Policies and Procedures, Pedagogy and core values across the nursery
- Support and inspire the whole team across the nursery and other nurseries within your nursery cluster
- Support with projects across the wider business
- Oversee the induction of new team members, welcoming them into the Kindred family
To be successful for this role you should:
- Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the EYFS guidelines
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of leading and managing a team
- Have good time management, meeting deadlines
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
