As a Regional Director, you’ll play a key role in leading this vision across multiple nurseries, ensuring exceptional standards of care, education, and commercial performance.
As Regional Director, you will hold full responsibility for the operational, commercial, and people performance across a cluster of nurseries. Reporting to the Chief Early Years Officer, you will lead a team of Area Managers to deliver outstanding outcomes, while ensuring financial sustainability and a consistent Kindred experience.
You will also play a key role in Kindred’s growth journey, supporting acquisitions and leading the successful integration of new settings into the group.
- Proven track record of driving operational and commercial performance
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted, EYFS and regulatory frameworks
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Involvement in acquisitions, integrations, or business transformation
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Commercial & Financial:
- Own full regional P&L, driving revenue, occupancy and cost performance
- Deliver accurate forecasting and performance reporting
- Ensure all nurseries operate sustainably and profitably
- Review nursery performance and implement improvement plans
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and statutory requirements
Growth & Acquisition:
- Support identification and evaluation of new nursery opportunities
- Drive regional growth, capacity expansion and performance improvement
- Lead, coach and develop Area Managers
- Drive training, development and high standards of education and care
