What You’ll Need
Essential:
A relevant marketing qualification (e.g. degree or diploma) or sector experience within a marketing role
At least one year of experience in a marketing role, ideally digital-focused.
Willingness to learn and actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD)
Experience supporting B2C (customer-facing) marketing activity, ideally in a service-based or multi-site business.
Familiar with Microsoft Office, CRMs (e.g. HubSpot, Pipedrive), and social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Understanding of data protection and confidentiality (e.g. GDPR).

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will:
Responsibilities
Contribute to the planning and delivery of digital marketing strategies that support both customer acquisition and recruitment across key digital channels:
SEO & Website Optimisation
Assist in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search performance for both family and recruitment audiences.
Conduct keyword research, contribute to website content optimisation, and support performance tracking.
Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and an engaging user experience.
Social Media & Content Strategy
Help manage and grow our presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create and schedule engaging, on-brand content that speaks to prospective families and potential employees.
Support in developing a content plan that aligns with campaign calendars, seasonal moments, and business priorities.
Monitor performance and engagement, offering insights and suggestions to improve content impact.
Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing
Assist in setting up, managing and optimising paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) with a focus on lead generation.
Monitor campaign results and work with the Head of Marketing to adjust strategies based on data and performance insights.
Help maintain performance dashboards and assist in preparing reports.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Collaborate with colleagues in recruitment, operations, and individual nursery settings to ensure campaigns reflect local needs and brand tone.
Support the delivery of integrated campaigns that align online and offline activity (e.g. events, open days, awards).
