The Role

The position is structured across three core areas of responsibility:

  • Social Media & Digital Communications
    • You will own the company’s social and digital presence, developing and delivering a content strategy that reflects the heritage, expertise and personality of the brand. Key responsibilities include:
    • Creating and managing engaging content across Instagram and LinkedIn
    • Planning and maintaining a content calendar aligned to commercial priorities
    • Writing compelling copy for social posts, newsletters and digital communications
    • Managing and optimising Mail Chimp campaigns
    • Monitoring performance metrics and refining content based on insights
    • Ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Marketing & Brand Support
    • As the sole marketing professional in the business, you will act as brand guardian and provide support across a range of marketing initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
    • Maintaining consistency across all branded materials
    • Supporting product launches and new partnership announcements
    • Coordinating photography, digital assets and marketing collateral
    • Liaising with external designers, printers and agencies where required
    • Ensuring brand guidelines are upheld across every touchpoint
  • Events
    • Events are a key part of the company’s industry presence. You will take ownership of planning and delivering trade shows, industry exhibitions and client events. This includes:
    • Coordinating logistics for national and international events
    • Managing stand design and marketing materials
    • Promoting attendance via social and email campaigns
    • Supporting on‑the‑day delivery and post‑event follow‑up
    • Evaluating ROI and capturing content for digital channels

This element of the role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and the confidence to represent the brand externally.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive marketing professional who enjoys autonomy and responsibility. You will likely have:

  • A degree (preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Events or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in social media, digital communications or events
  • Strong copywriting skills and a creative eye for visual storytelling
  • Proficiency in Mail Chimp, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Confidence working to established brand guidelines
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

You will be self‑motivated, commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to shape and grow a brand within a specialist sector.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a heritage coffee company with genuine credibility and global reach. You will gain exposure across the full marketing mix in a varied, high‑impact role where your ideas will be heard and implemented.
