Are you early in your sales career and looking for the right environment to accelerate your growth? Do you enjoy building relationships, asking the right questions and uncovering client needs rather than pushing products? If you have 6–12 months’ experience in a consultative sales role and are eager to develop within B2B, this could be the perfect next step.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced, high-performing sales professionals while playing a key role in generating new business opportunities.
The Role
As an SDR, your primary focus will be on identifying and qualifying potential clients, with the goal of booking high-quality meetings for senior members of the sales team. You’ll act as the first point of contact, representing the business with professionalism and credibility while building genuine relationships with prospects. This is not a transactional sales role. Instead, it’s about understanding challenges, asking insightful questions, and positioning solutions in a thoughtful, consultative way. You’ll be given the tools, training and support to develop your skills and progress your career in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
- Qualify leads by understanding business needs, challenges and objectives
- Book and schedule high-quality meetings for the Business Development Manager and Strategic Account Manager
- Conduct research to tailor outreach and ensure relevant, personalized conversations
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline within CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with senior sales colleagues to align on targeting and messaging
- Continuously refine your approach based on feedback, results and market insights
About You
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their sales journey who wants to build a long‑term career in consultative B2B sales. You may come from any industry, but you’ll have had exposure to selling services rather than products and understand the importance of relationship‑building. You will have:
- 6–12 months’ experience in a consultative sales role (ideally service‑based)
- A genuine interest in B2B sales and developing a career in this space
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence in speaking to new people and building rapport quickly
- A curious mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful, probing questions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, resilient attitude and willingness to learn
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, coachable and eager to succeed. You’ll enjoy being busy, take initiative in your work, and be driven by the opportunity to progress. This role offers direct exposure to experienced sales professionals, so a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Why Apply?
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious business where development is a priority. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, structured guidance and clear progression pathways into more senior sales roles such as Business Development Manager or Account Manager. In return, you can expect:
- Ongoing training and mentorship from experienced sales leaders
- Clear career progression opportunities
- A collaborative and high‑energy team environment
- The chance to build a strong foundation in consultative B2B sales
If you’re ready to take the next step in your sales career and want to be part of a business that will invest in your development, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to kick‑start your journey in consultative B2B sales.
