Job Title: Senior Paid Social Specialist

Location: London 3 days in office, 2 from home

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000

Kindred Recruitment is working with a London-based boutique marketing agency specialising in premium start-up brands, helping visionary founders and innovative businesses establish a bold digital presence and connect with their target audiences.

Whilst a full-service agency, they stand out for their expertise across digital and social media – in particular, for the platforms that allow for highly targeted, creative campaigns that deliver results for their clients. As a small, close-knit team, they take pride in delivering custom, data-driven strategies that make a real difference for the brands they support.

The Role

This agency is looking for an Experienced Paid Social Manager with a deep understanding of the META platform (Facebook, Instagram, and other connected platforms) to join their team of passionate marketers. The position of Paid Social Specialist is a key hire for the team where you’ll be leading, planning, executing, and optimising paid social campaigns for a portfolio of premium start-up clients who demand an elevated level of brand-building and performance marketing.

In this role, you’ll go beyond the basics – from strategising on paid social funnels to getting hands-on in META Ads Manager, implementing real-time campaign adjustments that drive results. Your day-to-day will involve working with a variety of stakeholders to bring high-impact social strategies to life, analysing performance metrics to continuously refine your approach, and using your deep platform knowledge to make the best of our clients’ budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their brand, product, and business goals, and develop custom paid social strategies to meet those objectives.
  • Lead the strategic planning for META paid social campaigns, from concept development to launch.
  • Create funnel-based approaches for prospecting, retargeting, and retention campaigns, ensuring a cohesive experience for audiences across each stage.
  • Campaign Execution & Optimisation
  • Execute end-to-end META campaigns, including setup, management, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Actively manage and optimise budgets across campaigns to maximize ROAS and overall performance.
  • Test ad creatives, placements, and targeting parameters to identify and prioritise the best-performing combinations.
  • Troubleshoot technical and platform-related issues promptly to keep campaigns running smoothly.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Utilise data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvements to campaigns.
  • Compile detailed, insightful reports that clearly communicate performance metrics, highlighting successes, areas for growth, and strategic recommendations.
  • Present results and insights to clients, fostering an understanding of social media’s role in achieving broader business goals.

Collaboration & Client Relationships

  • Work closely with the creative team to align visuals and messaging with the strategy, providing guidance on best practices to drive engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and paid social expert.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, and new ad formats, proactively identifying opportunities to implement them in client campaigns.

What experience are we looking for?

First and foremost, this is an agency role. It’s fast-paced and requires someone able to adapt to changing priorities on a daily basis. Someone from an agency background would be a great fit but this role is also open to experienced candidates coming from a fast-paced in-house role.

Offering a salary of £60,000 – £75,000 we are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrable experience across paid social strategy AND execution
  • Excellent understanding of META (Instagram/Facebook) coupled with a good understanding of Google Analytics
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills able to connect with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong desire to succeed, be part of a small, highly experienced team and a commitment to growing the agency

Experience across Google AdWords, SEO or CRO would be a bonus but is not essential for this role.

What’s in it for you?

  • Collaborative Culture: Join a small, talented team that values creativity, collaboration, and making a real impact on the brands they serve.
  • Client Variety: Work with a diverse portfolio of start-up and premium clients, from fashion and lifestyle to wellness and tech.
  • Growth Opportunities: Our agency is growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us, advancing their skills and career.
  • Flexibility: A hybrid work environment with opportunities to work from our London office and remotely.

This is an opportunity to take your paid social career to an agency that’s committed to excellence and creativity. As part of their team, you’ll be making a tangible impact on the growth of high-potential brands while having the freedom to shape the direction of your work. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just live and breathe paid social but who also understands the nuances of branding and premium positioning.

If you’re a data-driven, strategic thinker who’s passionate about helping brands connect with their audiences on a deeper level, please share your CV.
