Digital Marketing Specialist \\n Location: Croydon, South London ONSITE MONDAY TO FRIDAY (Hybrid working after 6 months)\\n\\n Salary: Base salary of 30,000 plus circa 20,000 in performance bonus \\n\\n Are you a data-driven digital marketer ready to take ownership of an entire marketing function?\\n My client, a well-established and respected provider of health and safety training, is looking for their first in-house Digital Marketing Specialist . This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that wants to bring digital marketing in-house, offering someone the opportunity to take the lead in shaping, executing and growing its online presence. \\n\\n My client is a trusted name in the health and safety training sector, delivering accredited courses as well as other services across the UK.
Known for their quality of instruction and strong industry relationships, theyre now ready to scale their reach through smarter digital marketing and a stronger online presence. \\n Youll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking family-run company who are genuinely passionate about what they doand theyre looking for someone who shares that same enthusiasm, but through a marketing lens. \\n\\n As the Digital Marketing Specialist , youll take full ownership of planning, implementing and optimising digital campaigns designed to drive qualified leads and support business growth.
Youll be responsible for developing data-led marketing strategies across paid channels, organic search and social mediatranslating analytics into real business results. \\n Youll have the freedom to test, learn and build a high-performing digital marketing engine from the ground up. \\n\\n PPC Management: Create, manage and optimise lead generation campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Continuously refine targeting, bidding and creative to maximise ROI. \\n SEO & Content Optimisation: Use tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent to drive organic visibility, optimise on-page content and identify new keyword opportunities. \\n Website Management: Oversee updates and improvements to the companys WordPress websiteensuring its optimised for conversions, user experience and SEO best practice.
\\n Social Media Campaigns: Plan and execute engaging, brand-aligned content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook to build brand awareness and support lead generation. \\n Leverage Google Analytics and other tracking tools to monitor campaign performance, generate insights and report on KPIs to the leadership team. \\n Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to shape the overall digital marketing strategy, set measurable objectives and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
\\n\\n Youve already gained some experience as a digital marketer who loves the challenge of generating leads and optimising performance. Youre analytical by nature, comfortable managing budgets and want the opportunity to demonstrate your skill in digital marketing. Youre equally at home writing ad copy, managing a keyword strategy, or tweaking a landing page in WordPress.
\\n You dont need to have worked in health and safety beforebut you should have a curiosity for learning about new industries and an enthusiasm for helping a growing business reach its full potential online. \\n\\n Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and hands-on experience with tools such as SEMrush , Ahrefs , or similar. \\n Confidence using Google Analytics , Google Tag Manager , and data visualisation tools to assess performance.
\\n Competent in WordPress website management (basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus). \\n Experience running and optimising social media campaigns for brand awareness and lead conversion. \\n The opportunity to build a digital marketing function from the ground up \\n A supportive and flexible working environment where your ideas will be heard and implemented.
