This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least one year of media or advertising sales experience who is looking to accelerate their career in a high-value, relationship-led environment. Their portfolio spans digital advertising, premium sponsorship packages and high-profile industry events, including awards ceremonies and executive dinners. You will be selling to senior decision-makers across financial services, including asset managers, pension fund and investment firms.
The Role
As Media Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth across multiple channels. You will be responsible for:
- Selling digital advertising solutions across websites, newsletters and content platforms

- Identifying commercial opportunities within the financial services market
- Working closely with editorial and events teams to deliver high-quality campaigns
- Consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets
This is a consultative sales role where understanding your clients' objectives and offering creative, tailored solutions is key. The company is well known and part of this role will be utilising an existing, warm network of contacts.

- A minimum of a year in media sales, advertising sales or event sponsorship sales
- A proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in pitching over the phone, via video and in person
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, resilient and results-driven mindset
- An understanding of the financial media landscape— including pensions, investments, asset management or broader financial services — would be a significant advantage but is not essential. What matters most is your commercial instinct and appetite to learn.
Why Join?
You will be joining a well-established and respected brand within the financial sector, with a loyal client base and strong market positioning. The business offers:
- Uncapped commission structure with clear earning potential
- Exposure to senior financial services leaders
- A collaborative and supportive team culture
- Real opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow
- Hybrid working flexibility
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to move into a more consultative, higher-value sales environment and build long-term client relationships within a specialist sector.
